East of the Sun
I must confess that I am partial to the music East of the Sun (and West of the Moon) - I love Diana Krall's rendition of the song by Brooks Bowman. Okay, Sarah Vaughan and Frank Sinatra sang it well also but I like the way Diana Krall changed up the lyrics. My husband set the ring tone on my cellphone to play the first few measures when he calls me (yeah, yeah... he's sweet.)
So, when I discovered that there was a fairy tale from Norway, I just had to pick it for a Friday Collage. The center motif (castle and trees) was inspired by the work of Kay Nielsen...here and here ---Wonderful illustrations!

Wonderful work Kim.
How beautiful is that! I love it! Your stitching is great and I love the distant little house in the forest!
Joanna
I think this is one of my favorites of your Friday collages. It's beautiful and peaceful.
