It wasn't exactly a "play day" but I did avoid the computer and I got a lot of things done - imagine that! I spent some time in the studio and worked on a part of Arlee's page. I am really very pleased with the way this turned out. This fabric art journal has the earth on one side and a hibiscus flower on the other. I still need to attach some beads on the flower to create the stamen (& pistil? - not sure of the proper terminology.) With only ten days left in the month I've got a start on four of the eight pages... I might make my goal.
