I happened upon a link to The Department of Creative Studies at the University of British Columbia because I was looking for words in art and found Words in Art (A Glossary of Theory and Criticism for the Visual Arts.) I was there way too long, I'm a self-confessed knowledge junkie. I use to get lost in the dictionary, now it's the WWW! I found Dr. Robert Belton's discussion of The Elements of Art very informative.
We watched WordPlay last night. The movie focuses on Will Shortz and the process, insight and allure of crossword puzzles. I absolutely in awe of anyone that can do a New York Times crossword puzzle in less than 5 minutes! My goal is a Wednesday puzzle in 45 minutes or maybe I should start with Monday in 30!
