Friday Collage - Wk 04

puzzlement

Parenting has been a part of my Everyday Life for the last twenty-two years so, it seems only fitting that my final collage for this month should somehow reflect that. I'm not saying that parenting is a jigsaw puzzle but...

Been battling a cold/flu thingy the last few days but ventured out to get together with friends today. We shared our "Friday Collages" and talked about the benefits of doing a small quick piece once a week. Talking about inspiration, technique and passing around each others work certainly made me forget how bad I had been feeling earlier in the week. We also did a little plotting to get down to Coos Bay to see the Speaking in Cloth exhibit of six Northwest Quilters before it ends on Feb 19th. Also at the museum is the Fine Focus 2006 Art Quilts exhibit - our friend Jan Clark has a piece on tour.

this is very cool. Do we have a new theme for next week or the same one?

Nice collage. I like the puzzle theme.

The jig-saw look works perfectly with collage, doesn't it? These are photos on paper, not cloth, right?

Your puzzle quilt is great Kim. I was thinking you were very quiet this week and was wondering about you. Glad to hear you are feeling better.
