Detached Chain Stitch
This is the third week with SharonB's Take a Stitch Tuesday challenge. It's an easy stitch. I don't really like making the flower motif but I did enjoy using a single detached chain in a variety of colors to create the abstract "fill" area on my sample.

I have to say I love the fill area, imagine a whole piece done with this stitch in varying sizes and built up on top of each other, now youve got my brain ticking over!!!

Mmm this is one of the few stitches I can remember how to do from my sewing days! But I never did anything as intricate as your fill area. Great sample!
