I finished the front of Bente's page today. The biggest struggle I had with this page (besides the brightest of the orange fabric) was trying to figure out how to make a "fish net" for the small purple square. I solved it by making the net more 3D than I had anticipated. I think it works.(?)
I'm looking forward to the finishing work on all eight pieces. I still need to determine what should be on the backs - hopefully that inspiration will come soon!

What a great array of blocks. Another great page!!
Nice work! I love the orange and the arrangement of the blocks.
I adore orange! This one is so cheerful. Love the Indian motif and the 3-D net, too.
what a beautiful page. You really can't see all the lovely details until you click on the photo to make it bigger, then whoa! Eye candy!!! you really put a lot of great work in this piece. thanks for sharing it with us. I love it!
I agree with Jeri, its difficult to see all the work you have put in until you enlarge it. Another really good piece. Well done.
I am glad I took the time to enlarge the photo to see the detail. I really like the fish.
Kim, these fabric pages are gorgeous, both this and the previous post. I adore those colours, and the imaginative use of fabric. Great designs. Must remember to visit your blog more often!!!
