Landscape II
I thought I was attempting some sort of desert landscape but this isn't quite what I visualized. But it's done and I'll continue with the same basic design next week.

I like it. The color scheme gives it a very organic feel. Makes me think of Arizona.
Am I the only person that sees a cool abstract slice of apple pie? Maybe it's because it's early morning and I read "dessert" instead of "desert"! The colors are perfect and I love pieces where people see different images.
LOL!!! I see the apple pie quite clearly now that it was pointed out. Before that, I thought it looked like parts of Montana I have seen.
I love how different it looks from the first. Your approach is very good one, I think ... I did turn to Italian memories but didn't get quite as detailed as I thought I would when I described my plans. Will have to wait for the travels in a foreign country month!
I do see the pie now that it's pointed out. In spite of that, I think it's an interesting abstract desert type scene.

What a great idea, to use the same sketch with different themed color schemes. They are both very attractive. I do think that it looks like a desert. I did see the apple pie after it was pointed out. Too bad, I love homemade apple pie.
I love the colours od this, like Sue, it reminds me of the colours of Arizona.
I think it's a great abstract desert scene.
It definintely says desert to me... Wonderful!
