I got home from breakfast about three this afternoon to find all kinds of lovely treasures in the mail. From my husband's father and his wife a leaf brooch that they got for me while on their recent trip to Israel.
From Lynda (Purple Missus) a "celestial bodies" page swap and a lovely postcard - both are wonderful...really love the postcard!
... and finally from Terri (StegArt) a beautiful felted bag! Terri "gave away" the bag on her blog a week or so ago. She further enticed those of us who commented that there was something special inside! Drum roll, please!... inside the bag a elegant beaded necklace, matching earrings and some Fibre&Stitch tags. She also include some Misty Fuse, which I've never tried so that was really a pleasant surprise.
Fortnight day 7
Just what every man needs - Designer band-aids!
Thoughts for the FortnightLove is a smoke made with the fumes of sighs;
Being purged, a fire sparkling in lovers' eyes;
Being vexed, a sea nourished with lovers' tears;
What is it else? A madness most discreet,
A choking gall, and a preserving sweet.
(Romeo and Juliet, 1.1.191-5) ~ Shakespeare I love you - those three words have my life in them.
