What happened to Monday?

I've decided to play along each Monday and answer the three questions for Manic Monday I can't believe this slipped my mind yesterday:

#1. My idea of a perfect romantic evening probably hasn't changed much over the years. Some of the little things may have changed - where we dine, what we drink, the music playing in the background but the time we spend really paying attention to each other creates the mood.

#2. If I had to chose a sport to take part in the winter Olympics it would have to be curling. No fast speeds, no flying through the air, fewer crowds, indoors and no Lycra!

#3. There are so many things that people do in traffic that really bother me - tailgating is probably the one that gets to me the most.

Just in time for the New Year, I got my invitation to Ravelry. I'm looking forward to trying my hand at knitting some lace. I'm starting simple either Ice Queen or Branching Out, both at Knitty. I also love this lace capelet at Rainy Day Goods.

I wonder if Yarn Harlot is going to organize Knitting Olympics in 2008. With 230+ days to go I think I have time to improve my skill and speed, maybe try something more challenging.

Fortnight day 11

I picked up this handcrafted 'ABCs of Love' plaque the day I bought my embellisher.
It offers romantic advice for living and loving well and it was created by artist Renee Stewart(C).
