Super Fat Tuesday

I was hoping that by doing Thing-a-day I would get to some of those small craft things that I have been putting off and so far I'm doing pretty good. Today I made stitch markers. I'm working through the socks in Cat Bordhi's book and where she suggests using four markers marked A, B, C, and D. Didn't take any time at all!

I've started thinking about SharonB's Take it Further Challenge for February: What are you old enough to remember? I thought about renaming it to 'What should I remember that I have forgotten because I'm old?' Sure, there's the outhouses and wringer washer, but I'm thinking something more like Howdy Doody or Romper Room. hmmm...

LOL! That's a good take on it!

I received an email from a friend in which the grandfather says that he was born before television, penicillin, polio shots, frozen foods, xerox, contact lenses, frisbees, and the pill. There were no credit cards, laser beams, ball-point pens, pantyhose, air conditioners, dishwashers, etc. It goes on and on, then asks how old you thought the man was. Ahem. 59! I'm not researching to be positive on everything...because I know a lot of them from personal experience!

I like those stitch markers -- very cool.
