Yep, it's summer.

It's going to be hot today. It's only 11am, already 83 degrees and suppose to reach 96. My husband is off on a sixty mile bike ride and will hopefully be home before it gets too hot.

Living consciously...

The practice fell flat for me today: try to relive the feeling of a new love and stay in the glow. Yesterday at breakfast I talked with friends about being aware of recognizing when we have 'joyful' moments. We agreed that they seem to happen more often when we are doing nothing or a simple single task: sitting on the deck watching the birds at the feeder; playing music; seeing two places to play a great scrabble word. It's my intention to put more flow of energy into recognizing the glow of what joy is.
