I made my sister a Halloween birthday card. She has received her share of them from me throughout the years although I don't believe I've ever made one for her. I tossed some Halloween/Happy Birthday confetti into the clear envelop. The card is 5x7 inches. On the back I'm including the following poem (with my apologies to Ms Walter but I had to add a word):
The witches fly
Across the sky
The owls go, "Who? Who? Who?"
The black cat yowl
And green ghosts howl,
"Scary Fiftieth Halloween to you!"
~ Nina Willis Walter
Living consciously...
Today: If you had to identify the three essential ingredients of a conscious relationship--those ingredients that you will not live without--what would they be? Once you've identified them, think about how far you're willing to travel to get them.
I particularly like the last sentence. It comes down to ownership and taking 100% responsibility that Hendricks talks so much about. I believe I need to add another "L" word to my list of 'Live, Love, Learn, and Leave a Legacy' and that would be LUCK - a mnemonic for four ingredients: Love, Understanding, Compassion, and Kindness. In terms of 'getting' I believe I need to focus more on 'giving' and practice it by starting at home.

Cute card!
rian - Thanks. It was fun to do something playful - I need to remind myself to do more of that!
:) I like the card, too. Also like your mnemonic device LUCK.
jen - Thanks. LUCK is not mine, I read it somewhere, but I've adopted it!
