not a creature was stirring...

Mom, please, can you, before one?

The morning was full of activity. Both my daughters home for Belgian waffles before the youngest headed back to college. My husband and oldest took down the Christmas tree while I made a quick seat cushion for an uncomfortable dorm room desk chair.

By 2pm, they were all gone and I was home alone in lovely, peaceful quiet.(sigh)

Creative every day: 4 of 365 done!

Now What?

Tomorrow I'm staying home all day. I'll taking care of some chores around the house and then I am going to spend a very large block of time in the studio.

For now:
Listen to some music and reading.

I'm sure your cushion will be much appreciated. It is pretty and cheerful, too!

jenclair and rian - Thanks. To see her hug it and smile -- absolutely makes my day!

Debra - Yes, that's a heart string that runs pretty deep...

Mary Thanks. Quiet, yes, but soooo nice! Happy New Year to you as well!

Kay - Thanks. She got a fat quarter while she was home and we covered an old throw pillow from her bed. I ended up with a scrap - I'm sure I'll find a use somewhere/someday.
