I stole away for a few minutes to sketch and stitch. Above is the Amharic word - ደፋር - meaning a daring person. I stared at it a few minutes and thought about a person riding a unicycle. Done.

Rambling on...

When I slipped into the studio to sketch I told my daughter I was going to draw a turkey. But after I got there, I discovered that the 'smells' of Thanksgiving had turned me off to the idea of drawing a turkey (plus, they are not the cutest of fowl.)

I have so much to be thankful for. Life is good.
