Friday Collage (Getting caught up)

Sometimes days race by and sometimes the day feels like it is never going to end. The last month I've been dizzied by starts and stops to the normal pattern of life. I had not intended to put myself in a "computer timeout" - but I did. I managed to keep some studio time but have been paralyzed by the effort required to take pictures and upload images... overwhelmed by thought of trying to get caught up! Ironic (or maybe prophetic) that my final collage for April, "portmeirion", was where The Prisoner was filmed in the mid sixties. The long, beautiful estuary there is haunting.

The theme for the May collages was monochromatic and without explanation - black, blue, orange and brown.

I love them. Particularly the blue, even though it's my least favorite of the colors, I love the circles, & I love what looks like windows quilted into the brown.

I suspect there will soon be a lull in blogging due to summer, for most of us!

Great collages! Glad you're back with us. Fascinated to see your mention of The Prisoner. Loved that show and the actor who played the part, Patrick Mc...? oh dear, another senior moment. It'll come to me in the middle of the night.
