While I certainly do enjoy paintings of the Abstract Expressionist Mark Rothko, I don't think I got anywhere close to emulating his style. That's okay though - I really didn't want to capture a style but rather an attitude. I'm calling this Fahrenheit. I think it's only fair to mention the works of Helen Frankenthaler. I really do get excited when I see women artist in the mix!
