Friday Collage - Wk32

I still have a case of summer-lazy. I was sure that I'd be outside collecting a few black-eyed susans to set up a still life with a bottle of wine and a glass. Maybe next week. At least I did manage to add a little color to the dieffenbachia that sits in my studio (or maybe it's a philodendron!?!) - Hot Tropic Snow was fused in place and top-stitched.

There are days when the hum of the sewing machine can be very therapeutic. I think that's why I 'force' myself to at least do the Friday Collage each week.

a little bit of yellow goes a long way as a wise woman once told me...this piece really pops!

Whatever it is it makes a gorgeous collage in hot summer colors.

I really like your zucchini, mango and apple still life. I pooped out on the Color and Composition study this summer but hope to get back to it when I'm not gardening this winter. I love the fabrics and colors and could stand to learn more on the subjects.

Love your color combination. The yellow really "pops" and gives your leaves debth. Thanks for sharing! It's nice to see examples where the end product looks better than the photograph. This is something I need to work at!
