Today brought a number of surprises. Jenclair sent a lovely postcard and wrist/hair band. Her wonderful art pieces came right after I got a phone call saying it will cost $200 to repair my sewing machine. Gulp! (My husband said that wasn't a bad price... we are from different worlds! but got to do it... I miss my machine already!)
We woke up this morning to our first snow. There's more on the way. I think they said the "big" front is moving in 3am. My daughter is wishing for a snow day. I just hope we avoid any freezing rain and icy conditions. I did spend some time this morning drawing my husband's Mini and working on some fabric for one of the many journal pages I'm trying to finish.

Surprises are always fun. Lucky you! Keep warm...we're also getting colder/snowy weather here in the midwest. Ugh!
We're socked in with a freak snow system that has shut everything down. Beautiful when it started, now we just wish we could get back to our usual rainrainrain!
Love the postcard. Love snow too - as long as I don't have to go out in it!!
wow i wish i could draw like that!
Hey I'm glad somebody else saw the hairband potentiality in Jen's swap gift ...
