Since I'm behind on my 6x4 postcards, I spent today trying to get caught up. I thought it was also be a good time to try and learn something. I decided that the postcard would have the same basic design using only two colors in each. I used "ugly" scraps of fabric from the scrap box. I worked in order first the black/white, then brown/tan, then purple/gray, and finally the red/green. Tomorrow I'll apply some sort of surface design... and see if I can improve the look of them! I can't say I've "learned" anything (yet) - I prefer the green one, but none of them excite me.

An interesting exercise. I hope you'll share more pictures when the embellishment is added :)
I love the design as is but since I'm always intrigued by the work you share here, I'll look forward to seeing how you embellish it further.
Mmm interesting the way different colours change the whole design - worthwhile experiment.
love to see it developes in a wonderful card
Yep I prefer the green one to...as I'm drawn to lots of color. Can't wait to see what develops with these.
