Felt so good to sit and sew for a few minutes today. I managed to pull together two 6x4 piece. I made these two design the end of September (here)with thicken procion dyes. I think that when I use this technique in a future project I'll do a combination of commercial/hand-dyed fabric to do the major body parts and then use teh thicken procion dyes to create finer detail components - like the paws, face, decorative scales, etc.
