TAST Challenge - Wk06

Algerian Eye Stitch

My sample for the sixth week with SharonB's Take a Stitch Tuesday challenge. I started this last Tuesday and was nearly done with the sample, put it down and forgot about until last night. I'd like to blame everything in life on some sort of post-menopausal brain short circuit! I'm really beginning to enjoy this challenge and am so impressed with the samples that others in the challenge are making.

I'm so glad you remembered this and posted it, Kim. It's charming! I love the overlaps the brown pattern in the center and the transition from tan to black right below it.

Thanks Elizabeth! My personal favorites are the black/tan as well (and the brown/pink/green!)

I agree with Elizabeth and I'm glad you remembered it-you really have put a lot of work into it.You have tried so many different angles and it looks great.

Terrific!
I love the upper left corner, the overlapping eyes. Those would make really great flowers...
