Yellow Primroses
I'm trying not dwell on it but February went so fast I hardly remember it. Although I'm behind on a few commitments, my focus is on moving forward and I'm borrowing a few words from Emily Dickinson to help me through the first few days - "March is the month of expectations, the things we do not know, the Persons of Prognostication are coming now."
I selected the primrose for my February Journal Quilt. I've decided to be consistent with the font for the months and the background technique although I will vary the palette.
I made a couple of postcard while I was working out how to make the flowers and they are now on their way to Lynda and Mags.
I finished up Sarah's piece and got it in the mail yesterday. Her theme's focus was on women's work and I was also inspired by some paper collages she had done of a woman with a wand. It got me thinking that we all need to remember to take care of ourselves - put our tiaras firmly on our heads and put ourselves ahead of all the other roles we have!
(Thanks to those who have left comments or sent e-mails. Getting back to work and the computer after 10 days is a little overwhelming.)

Love February. and what a good idea to use your sample/practice flowers for postcards!!
I am doing monthly journal pages and don't have a clue for March. Perhaps, Emily will give me some ideas! haven't pulled her out in some time.

The primroses are beautiful Kim and the page for Sarah is awesome! You did a great job interpreting her theme.
The primroses are lovely!
I blame February flying by on the fact that there are only 28 days!
