Friday Collage - Wk 07

Landscape III

This landscape was an attempt to capture snowy mountains and the arora borealis - the flash washed out the white fabric. Life, at best right now is busy crazy and I'm grateful I got a few minutes to finish this piece today.

I think you captured the look! Very nice. I hope your busy/crazy life settles down soon for you.

I missed you on Friday morning, and am glad to see this now! I also like the background and the stitching.

This is a lovely piece of work Kim. Abstract and yet it is clearly snow on the mountains.

I wish I could see this one in person. The past 12 days have been almost comical in their overflowing busy-ness and so I am officially behind now, on the collages as well as the art journal pages!

Hopefully I can get the 7th one done by the end of the week and then finish the 8th over the weekend. Not exactly stressing over it, but I am also reluctant to drop any further by the wayside...

Wow,wow, wow! Wonderful background fabric, did you make it? The stitching sets it off. This has the look of a Northwest Indian piece. Spare, and to the point.
