"Take a breath!"

I am so far behind everywhere in my life! The studio has grown cobwebs, laundry has piled up, the office is cluttered with paper and bills. Every day seems to be one step forward followed by two steps back. Every week I tell myself that I'll get back on track and all will be fine! (I'm getting closer.)

I did manage to finish the March Journal Quilt (Violet) for the CPS Journal Quilt group before mid April. I mailed out a few birthday postcards (but forgot to take pictures... StitchTherapy has one - I may have to copy the image at some point!)

I'm really happy with the Daisy postcard. I got them in the mail today, hopefully Emmy, Carol and Terri will receive them soon. They all have April birthdays. My birthday is Wednesday. I'll be 55, I don't feel that old - my knees do but I don't!

I'm still finishing last week's Friday Collage but I did get Sue's page finished (for the Fiber Art Friends page swap.) Her theme was "One Colour" and I decided to do green in honor of Earth Day. Although they don't show up very well the Red Oak and Ginkgo leaves were made of layers of green netting.

I love your journal pages and the daisy postcard is really cute. Really nice work on Sue's page - the leaves look like they are floating across the page.
