Today is (the observed) Veterans Day and it is also the twenty-fifth anniversary of the dedication of “The Wall,” the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. My father served in Vietnam when I was a teenager. I’ve walked “The Wall” and was crushed with emotions: thankful my father returned safely from Vietnam and heartbroken by the names of 58,195 men and women who lost their lives.
Today, I’d just like to express my appreciation to our Nation’s veterans.

I was at the wall this weekend. Very emotional. I have a pic on my blog.
