Christmas Eve

A gift of time seems to be my favorite present this time of year - to give and receive! The presents have all been wrapped and the house is decorated. Meals have been planned and prepared in advance. DH is busy in the kitchen making Jamie Oliver's Chocolate Pots. Oh Yum! He likes to serve them in espresso cups, I like these from Crate&Barrel. These chocolate pots are very rich! DH uses Scharffen Berger bittersweet (70% pure dark chocolate) to make them.






I opened an early Christmas present this afternoon from a dear, dear friend! She made me a set of "Thank You" cards. They are wonderful. It may be hard for me to use them - I may just have to hold onto to them for a while!

Christmas Pizza...

The dough is in it's second rising and will be punched down and split to reshape into eight individual pizzas. We have pesto and the 'traditional red' pizza sauce for tomorrow. Since we'll build our own pizza everyone gets exactly what they want.
