I can't believe I'm actually thinking about doing this! Just make a Thing-a-day spending on average 20 minutes, but no more than an hour. It really appeals to a my "crafty" nature - something I don't exercise very often. I visit Whip Up (Handcraft in a Hectic World) and have been tempted to make some of those projects. But then the moment passes and I don't get around to it. So, I was thinking that if I could identify at least fifteen or so quick projects that I would like to try then "signing up" for Thing-a-day might keep me motivated to get it done.
Here's a few: Origami Post-it box, Stuffed Bunnies, simple stitch markers, an apron (like these!), Owl Pennant, magazine bowl - well, that's six...
I may have to think about it a few more days.
Living consciously...
Thinking about my connection to the universe. Oneness.
A glass of wine might help.

I like the sound of this - I think I may join you! But I too may have to think about it a few more days :)
Incidentally the littel origami box you linked to - I have often made these with bigger bits of paper, but tiny boxes made from Post-its would be very cute, I am thinking.
good luck.
Do you work outside your home?
After reading your post - I decided to bite the bullet and signed up - fingers are crossed that I can keep up with the commitment!
Good luck and thanks for pointing out the challenge.
