So far the year is coming along just right. A certain amount of knitting memory is starting to return to my fingers. I do need to relax my right shoulder as it seems to get a little tight. I finished my first pair of socks for the year but I'm still going to work on another pair for this month. I needed to remember how to use The Magic Loop method (from this booklet) and determine if my tension was right. Now, I'm feeling comfortable with the pattern so it's time to make an adult size pair. I also played around with a couple of swatches - tweed and stamen stitch.
I started working on ideas for SharonB's Take it Further Challenge. It's so exciting to see the work that has already started (photos at Flickr.) Hopefully, I'll make more progress and get some pictures taken this weekend.
Living consciously...
well, I am at least waking up every morning with it on my mind. I'll have to admit that this morning while I was trying to think "fun, happy, joy" thoughts, I was really thinking: 3 down 363 to go! Today's practice (lesson or task, depending on my mood) was to reflect on my unconscious intentions. Not to be confused with unconscious actions like eating the third cookie of the batch I just baked when I really only intended to eat just one. Instead it has more to do with understanding how to know what I'm committed to by claiming my unconscious intentions to create results. Oh, bugger... "I eat three cookies because I'm committed to eating three cookies!" Well, that backfired, but the point is first I have to claim it before I can change it! (Is there a psychotherapist in the house?)

how does one reflect on one's unconscious intentions? It being unconscious seems to preclude reflecting on it?.... I'm not trying to be dense, but I really don't get this one!
Are you working through a book/course with these lessons laid out in it? Until this one they've seemed a great idea and I would love to know more...
can' wait to see what you do with Sharon Bs challenge. I am going to use the color scheme and I think you will like that the Tournament of Roses parade was my inspiration to go with a flower theme. I have all my raw materials and an idea. hope to get started with it tomorrow.
