More Stamps

I made a few more stamps today. I had some heart-shaped erasers - probably from when the girls were younger - that I carved on both sides. I will have to go and buy some ink... the ink I have been using has to be at least ten years old!

We had a wonderful time at the Super Bowl party. It was different this year. Usually everyone hangs around the kitchen and dining room table where all the potluck food is laid out drifting back in where the TV is to catch glimpses of the game and the commercials. This year most everyone was watching the game. Food, however was still consumed. Our host had brought in crabcakes form Chesapeake Bay Crabs. They were so good!

Living consciously...

I'm sitting here getting ready to write my comments on connections we make with others not in terms of what they do for us but rather what they are to us - more a recognition of how we feel around certain people. Behind me CNN's Anderson Cooper's 360 is on and they are talking about Lucid Systems technology that taps into the emotional reaction below the level of conscious awareness, which is really what determines our likes and dislikes. Okay. I'm going to stay low-tech and try to get in touch with how I feel about people that bring joy to my life and let them know!

You would be in my list and many of the other bloggers that I read on a daily basis. Although we have never met, I can say that I connect with you and other bloggers on an emotional, creative and intellectual level more so than some of the actual people that I come in contact with every day here in Connecticut.

What do you think about that??
