This weekly expresses my gratitude for the windows of time I have to get the things done that I want to do. I started with the five hatch marks and build the rest of the piece around that. I'm also trying to reduce the scrap box and pulled fabric out that I didn't particularly like (kinda like this month's TIFC - ha!)Green and salmon... what was I thinking?
For last week's weekly I did a 'heart' - I had been doing hearts all week and it came together nicely for this month's theme of gratitude. The heart, as a symbol of love, and love is certainly sometime that I am grateful for. Since today is Valentine's Day, I thought I'd get one more heart done. For my contribution to Thing-a-day I made this postcard.

Love that heart and the background it rests on.
Love the collage and what it represents.
The heart is gorgeous.
Oooo! Love the shiny heart. The symbolism of the heart shape always seems to have an affect on us. There is something pleasing about the shape itself, even apart from the associations...
