March TIFC - Day Two

It's getting closer to the middle of the month so I thought I'd should at least start working on the March TIF Challenge. 'Paying attentions to the small details' - - I thought I might find some ideas while looking closely at work I've already done. When I saw a page I colored a year plus ago with many of the TIF colors I knew it had potential. I like the text showing and the transparency. It's a start.

Living consciously...

Three questions to ponder today:
What would represent you at your most flamboyantly positive life?
What would you be doing if you were living at your full-out best?
If you knew you could not fail, what would you do differently?

In many ways I am living the life I want. The questions really beg the dream big notion - bold, showy, audacious, living large, no-fail, positive life. In my early twenties, as part of some exercise, I wrote about my ideal day. It started with waking up early in the morning, leaving the main house and walking over to the studio with the dogs following behind. It was a multi-page rambling of every little nuance but at its core was having an artists' cooperative. I saw myself as some sort of philanthropist owning both an artists' retreat in a wooded setting near water and an artists' cooperative & gallery in a nearby city. I'd love to be a catalyst for others, giving them the opportunity to create art. Surrounded by art with an opportunity to play with all kinds of different media and making it possible for others to do the same... With this in mind, I should go ponder the questions.

love the TIF sketch, what luck to find something so perfect in your sketchbooks already ;-) Those eyeballs jump out at me, leaving me with the sense the words are floating in a mind behind the eyes....

I like the sketch and especially like the text; I'm always drawn to text, but I also like that the balls look like they are playing bumper cars.

I love the way your thoughts led you from the memory of your ideal day to the idea of an artists' retreat! I've always wanted to attend a retreat like that - a beautiful setting with like-minded people and someone who could teach and inspire.
