Table Game

Gotta love him. That's all I can say. My husband walks by and looks at something I had left on the table and said "Someone's not a very good Tic Tac Toe player." Just what I need, a technical adviser.

Living consciously...

Today's practice - Make a commitment to merge your inner experience of conscious living with the outward symbols of beauty. Conscious beauty.

We certainly live in a beauty-conscious society but how we define beauty from person to person or culture to culture varies. Heck, I'm still trying to decide what beauty means to me from one decade to the next. Simple, comfortable, easy-care, long-lasting, and doesn't require a lot of time - that would take care of dress and home and then for added touches lots of art, some fresh flowers, music, and a precious gem or two. Accepting and aging gracefully, chin hairs and all, that would be beautiful!

Aging gracefully is beautiful, isn't it? And difficult to manage in our culture that emphasizes youth and physical perfection. Accepting the chin hairs and the insults of deteriorating joints requires a great deal of confidence.
