I'm trying not to focus on it now, but the drive home always feels the longest after the plays. I think we'll have to listen to Diana Krall and Madeleine Peyroux, maybe that will pass the time faster.
The play today, The Clay Cart, is a romantic comedy. I'm looking forward to a little lighthearted entertainment.
Living consciously...
I'd say this is one of my favorite quotations but in reality I have too many to have favorites...
What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us. -- Ralph Waldo Emerson
From the reading; agreements, whether to yourself or to others, should not be made if they cannot , or will not, be honored. For the daily practice, examine your heart beforehand and ask... is it something you choose to do, need to do and will you carry through with and understand the impact on others or yourself if you don't keep the agreement.
Probably too many times in my life I've "rationally" mitigated away the impact of breaking agreements on what I would call the little things in life. I do think that most of them have been agreements I break with myself. This is a practice I'd like to be aware of this month.

The daily practice for today is a good one. I'm going to give this quote to my husband...
