Opificer at work

I could have used this word for the May TIFC...
opificer:
1. (obsolete) a person who makes or creates something.
2. A skilled or artistic worker; an artisan (from Scripps round 13)

I really enjoy watching the Scripps National Spelling Bee. This was my favorite moment --

The young man in the clip, Sameer Mishra won in the 16th round with guerdon. A fitting word win with.

Living consciously...

"Change" is the theme of the reading today. Great. It's been the theme of my life for some time now. Hendricks suggests identifying a part of yourself that's most like a condemned house (a little harsh.) Then, think creatively about the part to change and how to do it (yawn!) Yuk.
