I am so (very, very) happy to be done with the scraps! I have the squares, rectangles and most of the strips in one organized container. I picked up three of these 3-drawer containers today -- buy 2 get 1 free. I like how I can remove the drawers and that they are on the small side (8.5" x 11")... hopefully making to easier to keep stuff organized!
Just a few minutes of straightening up in the studio in the morning and I can get back to doing something creative.
Living consciously...
Today's practice was to reflect for a moment on the greatest loss you have experienced. It's an exercise to remember again the feelings when the loss was the most fresh, most raw; these feelings are necessary to loss, and necessary to love.
I'm not a big fan of re-living the past. I feel I dealt with those feelings when they happened and I'm just as sure that I will deal with similar feelings in the future. My sister was killed in a car accident twenty-five years ago. She had a six month old son who has grown into a fine young man. He got married last Friday. Life goes on.
