This morning I was thinking about working with the "crumbs" and reflecting on what a bear doing all the scraps were when I got the idea to do a bear with the crumbs. I drew up a quick sketch -- lower left hand corner in the picture above. I figure the finished size will under 15 inches square. I sorted the crumbs into six piles: blues; purples; greens; reds/oranges/yellows; browns; whites/grays/blacks. I sewed strips of blues together and then ran out of time.
Living consciously...
For practice: Focus on the part of your body that you most often wish were different.
I get it -- loving acceptance. The part of the body that I'm learning to accept is the the aging part. Lovingly? Not so much, I'm decidedly more neutral about it, just trying to accept the "is-ness" of it. My changing vision has me most frustrated. I resent seeing the world through geriatric eyes. I'm dealing with by keeping lots of reading glasses everywhere and seeing the eye doctor on a regular basis.

Love the sketch of the bear!
Looks cool. I'll be watching for your progress.
jen and deb - Thanks - I was really surprised when a few lines added to a simple outline turned into a nice design. Now I just need to figure out how to "color" it.
