The back.

***Happy Dancing!!!*** It's all together, no pins, the back is nice and neat! I do need to make a decision about how to finish the edge -- I'm thinking about either just rolling the edge or putting on a quarter-inch binding or using a decorative ribbon to cover the raw edges. I was also considering beading or other surface embellishment but right now I am so tired of all the handwork that I've been doing that I'm going to take a serious break and just slap a sleeve on the back so I hang it up!

Living consciously...

The goal of the practice was to learn how to stop yourself from slipping into a lower mood by taking a "feeling snapshot" throughout the day.

"Can you hear me now?" - that's what I thought when I read it. Pause every once in a while and check the status. I afraid my sarcastic cynical side appeared snarling at "Feel the feeling and be aware of the thought" and I suddenly thought of a bridge to nowhere -- thanks-but-no-thanks.

It's been interesting this week with hubby and daughter in New York, I've had the house to myself and my moods (feelings and thoughts) have been good. Love my family but this R&R time was great. I think I'll try to use this week as a baseline!

it is helpful to see the "less pleasant mood" as it approaches rather then waiting for it to be a full grown funk in my experience... now if only I could remember to look when things weren't terrible :-)

Love the back -- so many pieces....

donna</b - Maybe some type of 'mood meter' would be a good aid -- with a built in funk warning.
