Slow going.

It took more hours than I thought it would but I am nearly done with working on the back. It's all hand work and where I enjoy that process sometimes this feels like more chore than joy.

(Best thing about the day - only 49 days left until the election is over.)

Living consciously...

For practice: Take a vacation from judging your thoughts.

Cool. This may need to become a daily practices. Just notice them. This was also the advice that Tolle offered in A New Earth.

Nice sketches there too, Kim.

That's two votes for the sketches.

kay and rian - Thanks. I do enjoy the time spent with the journal but I gave up my daily NYTimes crossword puzzle since I started the journal. Now I need to figure out where to get another hour so I can get back to the crossword... guess the housekeeping will have to suffer!

I'm trying to take a vacation from thinking! Have been working on being nonjudgmental for years, but it takes constant supervision, and I'm never entirely successful.
