My finger has healed well enough to start knitting the second padded footlet. I'm hoping to knock this off fairly quickly as I have lots to do during the month of December, including the things I didn't do throughout the year. Ha.
I am going to daily drawing on my December calendar (like this) and if it goes well continue daily drawings throughout 2009. I also plan to make a commitment to drawing in my journal on a regular basis, probably four or five times per week.
I still struggle with how to make getting into the studio a priority. I'm bound and determined to figure out a system to make sure it happens - another challenge for December!
Living consciously...
For practice: Are there any lessons in my life I could be learning in gentler ways?
That's really THE question and in finding one (or some) figure out how to learn as gently as possible. I keep coming back to learning to ask more of myself without losing momentum if I stumble.
In re-reading the question, I am aware that I could be learning in gentler ways when it comes to "relationships." hmmm - where to go from here...

I am right in there with ya. When you find the secret, let me know, k? Thanks.
Same with me... I want to know the secret!
rian and françoise - My Holy Grail, "tough and able, quite in-de-fa-ti-gable" search for studio time...
I do think showing up has a lot to do with it! But if I stumble upon the secret, I'll be sure to share it!!
I'm glad you are going to do the calendar illustration thing! It will be fun to watch.
