Thanksgiving

The year has turned its circle,
The seasons come and go.
The harvest all is gathered in
And chilly north winds blow.

Orchards have shared their treasures,
The fields, their yellow grain,
So open wide the doorway ---
Thanksgiving comes again!

George Winston -- Thanksgiving (4 minutes of music and slide show)

Living consciously...

Today's practice: Pause for a moment to appreciate people in your past who helped you get where you are.

Nice. Hendricks suggest starting with "telepathic" appreciations and working up to written and verbal ones as you work on developing a habit of appreciating people on a regular basis. We have a regular tradition at Thanksgiving, we pause for a few minutes before we begin eating to go around the table and allow everyone to talk about what they are thankful for. As soon as the tears stop we chow down!
