A very quiet low key day. Challah French toast, the Sunday NYTimes Crosword, a little knitting and football, and got an eight foot tree in the Living room ready for it's decorations. I also (finally) managed to clean the computer keyboard. A simple thing, I'm surprised at how happy it made me.
(Watched a little Puppy Cam too!)
Living consciously...
Today's practice builds on the one from yesterday - in interpreting behavior you observe figure out the why component. So, when that door slams, you can without judging assume that he was angry.
Not a lot of door slamming in my house but I understand where Hendricks is going with this. I don't really like these perceive/feeling practices. Oh, well... I did like the quote for the day:
The only real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes. ~ Marcel Proust

Sounds like a pleasant day! Love the quote.
jenclair - It was just lovely. My daughter, who's 23, spent the day with us and I'm so appreciate the adult/adult relationships we've developed.
As long as I'm basking in that soft-touchie-feelie glow, thanks for your comments Jen, they bring a smile. Here's another Proust quote just for you:
Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are charming gardeners who make are souls blossom. ~ Marcel Proust
