New Year's Eve

Chaos. Good chaos, but chaos nonetheless. The house is a mess. It amazes me how remodeling one little room can turn the house upside down. The worst room is my studio - NOT because I've been working in it but because it is closest to the office that is getting the redo. I finally surrendered and admitted to myself that this year will end without me finishing the "now, now, now" piece as I had planned.

We've had more parties and gatherings than usual this December. Tonight we are having a some friends over to help us celebrate the end of this decade and the blue moon. I got a pork shoulder braising in the oven in a bath of Guinness, cherries, red onions, and sweet potatoes. My daughter says the aroma is wonderful - I can't tell but I'm pretty sure I smell like it too!

We are planning to have a wonderful New Year's Eve and hoping everyone everywhere has one as well!!!

See ya in Twenty Ten.

Everything probably got dumped in your studio, right?
