Medusa
My husband suggested Snakes on a Quilt for the title for this collage but I didn't think it quite fit - close though. Overall, this piece turned out the way I had planned - except for her nose. It is so faint that it doesn't exist.

Oh, this is wonderful! I love your Friday collages....actually I love all of your work...=-)
I like the pieced background and the way it sets off the hair. The placement of the pieces in the face are also effective, especially that fabric you used on the eye. I can't tell for sure, but it looks as if the hair is really dimensional, coming out of the background. Another great job, Kim!
Really wonderful Kim. She looks a little worried. I love the unexpected use of the line fabric on the face. It really makes her a work of ART.
Whata lovely medusa-ish/early morning look :}
I have done a lot of study related to medusa so I really appreciated your take on her. And I can't help it. "snakes on a quilt" is quite funny even if it wasn't right as a title for the piece. Thanks for sharing that tidbit as I got a huge amount of enjoyment from it.
This is a great piece, Kim. I also like the greenman piece.
I love this collage!
