Going with the flow

For Thing-a-day I made this 6 inch square of fabric that I plan to make into a case for my eyeglasses tomorrow.

Another lovely day, very spring-like... a few outdoor chores but mostly lazing around basking in the wonderful weather while knitting and reading. I also spent time this morning listening to Elissa Lee Koljonen's Heartbreak CD - a beautiful collection of pieces from Debussy, Chopin, Elgar, Tchaikovsky, and more.

Living consciously...

I'm still struggling with/through A Year of Living Consciously. Today's practice of reflecting on what someone close to you may have been like as a child - their fears and dreams - and then doing the same for yourself, left me feeling really ambivalent about continuing with the reading. I'm telling myself to just stay lighthearted and find some value.

On the other hand, I've read half of A New Earth and am finding it to be wonderful!

Sounds like a lovely CD, and I'm a great fan of Debussy.
