"Uncle"

Olympics and migraines do not play nicely together. But it's not like the migraine plays nicely with most activity I try to do -- except maybe sleep and sometimes the treadmill or stationary bike (it's the waking up or stopping that kills me.)

Better living through chemistry... say "Yes" to drugs.

Living consciously...

Working through the stages of grief, next up is the anger that pops up when you're not in control of your world masking a loss. So, for practice delve deeper: what do you think the anger was about? But, in truth, what were you really grieving.

To me, grief, especially when you lose someone, just heightens the unresolved issues you may have had with the person and all the hopes to "improve" things also ends.

Oh yea, especially when migraines are involved.

what a great line -- saying yes to drugs is the only way to survive a migraine, though must admit there are times during it I'm not sure I want to survive! :-)

Hope you're able to find a position, noise and light level that don't irritate any further...

Isn't it wonderful that modern science can make our lives more comfortable?

Grief and guilt are often intertwined, but grief can pop up unexpectedly long after you feel that you have healed.

vicki, donna, jen It's all about pain management... I just resent the disruption!

jen - Grief does seem to live on and that's okay. I figure we should all have a full dance card of life's emotion...
