I got most of the "warm" fabrics iron and folded. I still have the black/white/gray fabric left to do and then get it all put away. I'm thinking tomorrow I want to take a break from organizing and turn on the sewing machine!
Living consciously...
"... to adapt yourself to and compromise with another's style can be one of the trickiest parts of a long-term relationship."
No, really??? It has certainly been something I've been working on for, what seems like, a lifetime... or maybe I anticipate that I will be working on it for a lifetime.

How pretty! It's inspiring to see what you've done. The ruler folding idea is interesting. I can see myself doing it once, but would I refold that way if I got a piece out?
I really love the pictures of your folded fabric. Your stash is impressive! I am still putting of the last section of my blues, but have recently refolded and organized all my fabric.
Your collages and quilts are stunning!
"tricky"!! now there's an understatement if I've ever seen one! (and this from a committed single person!)-- yes I parent full time, and have friends but "tricky" would still be a stretch for capturing the dance of adaptation to each other in those relationships - can't imagine it would come close in a marriage/significant other situation... :-)
kay - I've been Oohing and Aahing the little piles for the last few days (as has my daughter.) I have also become quite adept with the ruler and I think I'll be using in the future to keep the fabric under control. I'll be testing out that theory as soon as start the August TIFC.
lindsay - I don't think I'll be going to the fabric store for awhile... not that I don't want to but the guilt of fabric gluttony may hold me back!
donna - I love "dance of adaptation"... like some sort of dodge ball tango!
