I finished the doll, who I've named "Isoma", by creating a few pieces of jewelry for her to wear. This was a fun little project -- using up scraps and dressing her before I drew the face (the exact opposite approach I used when I worked on Ophelia.)
I was tempted to start my "to-do list" for October but decided instead just to celebrate the last of the month and the fact that I have been keeping up my journal for the last thirty-five days! Amazing.
Living consciously...
A reflection on essence today: Think of today as a movie. Sometimes the pictures on the screen will be a tragedy, sometimes a comedy. But your essence is the light from the projector. It remains the same even when there are no pictures flickering past.
Couldn't help but think -- "This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine!" I might actually be able to remember this explanation of essence. My "pictures" have been pretty good lately, I hope that when the drama rolls I can remember my role in it all.

What a great doll!
She looks great. I love her hairstyle.
She is just fabulous Kim.
I love her to bits.
Thanks all! - It was fun creating her. It felt spontaneous and everything flowed so easily. I can understand why people enjoy doll-making as a pastime. I'll probably work on a few more over the next couple of month as time permits.
I love her!!
