Yep, I finally got bitten by the knitting bug. That's my excuse for today - since it seems that's all I did. This pair, Meida's Socks, is from an Interweave publication, Favorite Sock: 25 Timeless designs.

I have discovered another blog I have to drop in on from time to time - Wordplay - the crossword blog of the NY Times. Today's puzzle was easy.

Ah, another practice that I'd love to be able to live up to: ...commit to learning from everyone and everything today. Return to this commitment often throughout the day.

It's that often throughout the day that I stumble over because it does require that my consciousness has to be in the "on switch."
