wk 16-09
Playing in the studio is getting easier! You'd think I'd learn and remember that showing up is 90% of the battle. I've one more week left with the Hebrew theme and will again use the stamp I made of my daughter's face. This little piece was fun and quick, in orange, Hebrew for daughter.
Rambling on...
I'm slowly working on the sock. I did knit this evening while I watched baseball - maybe I'll finish it during Game 3. I'm happy the Yankees evened the series, good games with good pitching.

I like this, Kim. How did you make the stamp with your daughter's face?
Thanks Kay. I took a photo of my daughter and manipulated it in Photoshop to get high contrast. Printed a copy using InkJet printer and transferred the image by burnishing onto a Speedball SpeedyCut block, and then carved away the white space. I've yet to buy micro carving tools which would make the carving easier but it was fast and fun.
